Default LB9 specifications?

I'm in the middle of filling out a form on compcams.com for recommending a camshaft- in case I decide to start on some mods to go in the Camaro.

I'm having some trouble filling out all the fields- I don't know absolutely everything about the engine I've got and the intarweb has only been so helpful. :/

Anyways, I need the following information to finish filling it out:

Piston Type
Connecting Rod Type
Cylinder Head Part Number
Head Runner Volume
Intake Valve Size
Exhaust Valve Size
Rocker Arm Ratio
RPM Range - Low & High

My Haynes manual has also been of very little help :/ Perhaps one you guys knows enough to help?

Hmm let me try
Flat tops with valve reliefs 9.5:1cr
Stock cast rods
Don't know P/N
1.5 ratio
and as it sits if you have an automatic it will shift around 5000 +/-. Stock small block you don't want to be reving over 6000rpm too long. Get valve float.

Yeah, it's an auto- I figured it was around 4500, 5000, although the low end I was less sure about.

The rocker arm ratio- that's 1.5:1, or...? The form asks for it in x:1 form, so, yeah. >.>

And for the pistons- just for knowledge sake, could I ask ya to explain what the "9.5:1cr" bit means?

Thanks for the help!

Just the compression ration with the pistons is 9.5:1
Did not know if that was the info needed or just the style of piston.

Ahh alright then- it asked for compression ratio in another field and it happened to be one thing I did know.

Surprised they did not ask mother's maiden name.

I believe you should have casting #14101081, 58cc combustion chamber, 1.84 intake, 1.50 exhaust

Awesome, thanks!

Looks like all I still need is the Head Runner volume (unless it is the 58cc you mentioned- times like this I wish I knew more than I do :/)

And I wanted to double check the low end of the RPM range- I wrote in 1500 as a random guess, but I really don't know.

The 58cc is the combustion area volume of the head. The runner volume is referring to the intake runner. All I could find is somewhere between 180~188cc, so that should help you somewhat.
Low end of the rpm range would be determined mostly by the effective range of the intake manifold. Since a lot of "all-around" intakes generally start a little bit off-idle, plugging in 1500 rpm should work fine.

Well crap. I got impatient and submitted with 58cc and wrote in "Idle" as the low end.

Shows me. Ho well, we'll see what kind of a response they give and can correct later on, I think~
