Default Can't get my carb off!

I have an 81 Z28 (Canadian, none of that CCC up here until 82) stock 350 I'm trying to pull apart, but I'm having an issue with a metal hose fitting on the front side of carb. It's stuck as all heck. Any advice on pulling her off without completely stripping it?

I'll try to get a picture, right now I have no idea how to post one. Please help a newbie out!

Assuming you have the stock Quadrajet, the steel line on the front is the fuel inlet. You want to put an open end wrench on the fitting that's screwed into the carb body, and then another wrench on the flare nut of the fuel line. Counterclockwise with the nut while pulling/holding the fitting in a tightening fashion. Get an extra pair of hands on it if you need to. If the flare nut is welded to the line with rust and just won't budge, you might have to end up cutting the line. Or, try disconnecting the line at the fuel pump and lift the carb and line out together, where you can mess with it more on the bench.

Appreciate the help, I did just have to disconnect from the fuel pump and work on it on the bench. Thanks!
And yes, it is a stock Quadrajet.
