'94 LT1 car, has a temperature sensor for AirCon operation, which is inserted between the lamels of the evaporator unit. It has a wire with the small black box and 3-pin contact on the box. Problem is - I have a body from '97, which did not have this type of sensor anymore, but want to use one (as the PCM is still '94 and needs it). Maybe somebody could help to identify where to search for the connector to the abovementioned "box" on the sensor, where it normally connects to? I assume I should have the wiring somewhere in the "under the glove box" area, but it would help a lot, if I knew where the wire is connected (going to), to find it.
Thanks a lot in advance!
Alex
the sensor itself, whoes black box is hanging in the passenger legroom behind the glove box:
wow, im pretty much stupid on some of this. so what was changed, just the body or body wiring and all. they are different systems. one is obd1, one obd2. 97 has a body control module that handles a great deal of things that the 94 has separate relays and modules for. hurts my head to think about it. lol.

Thanks for the thoughts! The car has obd1 gutts, and obd2 wiring kept "just in case"
I have found the wires, using Google search, it is three wires splitting from the rest of wires right after entry through the firewall, dark blue, grey and black, equipped with the 3-pin contact clip.
Just had to put the sensor through the firewall into the engine bay, to zip-tie it to the "cold" pipe entering the HVAC unit. Because it's a pain to open the HVAC from inside the car to reach the evaporator fins, where this sensor needs to be placed. Works so far. Need to check if it won't either freeze the evaporator or reduce ac power in the long run. Will report here if this sensor placement is feasible.
