ZL1 owners...did you get a manual or automatic and how do you like your ZL1?

 

I got the manual, 6 speed. Just the sound that the car makes....you need the stick!

and with the launch mode and no-lift-shift... ohh man..hold on! Getting auto will kill most of the fun of why you get this car.

 

I bought a M3 with the dual clutch transmission and I am bored after 7 months. Its pretty high tech and neat when your in traffic. However, its kinda like an automatic and if you always drove stick like me....it gets boring not being able to row the gears.
Thinking about buying a Zl1 I hope people chime in on what they like about the car and what they hate...

 

if your getting a performance car like the ZL1 why bother getting it if its gonna be a automatic? the whole point of a performance car is to enjoy the car. you can't truly enjoy it if its an automatic.

 

Well after driving the manual '11 CTS-V my Dad bought, without a doubt -- STICK!!! FTW!

It has the same LSA engine as the ZL1...
