Default I got one

After 6 years of owning a well modified 06 Mustang GT I traded it in on a 2012 ZL1.

The ZL1 is black on black and I love it. Without any mods it is way faster and much better handling the anything I have driven. The feel of the car is amazing, it is glued to the road and sounds awesome. It gets nothing but stares every where I take it, and draws a crowd.

Oh yeah the power is awesome to.

I'll try with the pictures, but you have to remember, I just now figured out to copy, cut and paste. Also texting is newest project.

I hope to be able to get the pictures in the morning, been raining all day here.

I tell everyone that everything this car is as advertised. I have hit some good curves and this thing is on rails, as good as my Vette. Even with all of computer aids off it is very stable. if you romp on it, it will chirp the tires at 60mph.

Aparrently the ZL1 is in short supply in the south as I was signing the papers a guy from North Carolina was trying to buy mine over the phone. The sales manager at the dealership said that was the 5th call of the day. I was lucky that day, and happy right now.

I live in Canada and I pre-ordered a 2013 in Calgary back in March. I was second on the list and was told there were 3 they we're able to get, just this week I was informed that they are not sure if they were able to get the second one. I thought for sure I pre ordered early enough, I guess not
They said that they still may but were doubtful, I'm certainly crossing my fingers.

Hope your enjoying yours!

sbarko, sorry to hear about your problem. I do know that they are few and far between in Florida, and apparently in the south in general. I have not seen another one, of any color, down here in Tampa or Orlando, not even at a dealer.

I have taken pictures of mine, but could not get them to post. I guess I should find a 10 year old and have him show me how it works.

Yeah there are a few 2012 ZL1's on the west coast here in Canada that are at dealers; trade-ins or what not but they want like $77,000 CDN which is insane, (the new Convertible ZL1 is $68,000 CDN) not to mention Im looking at buying the options and colour I want, not what someone else ordered.

The dealership did offer me the one that did get ordered, which was a convertible (and a 6 speed) but I just don't dig convertible muscle cars. The guy who ordered it ended up buying a 2012 convertible SLP Camaro instead, a week after he made his order on the 2013..f$%* ..hoping to find out in the next 6-8 weeks if they will be getting a 2nd one in..fingers crossed
