Default Bypass Valve to increase PSI

I just got a 2014 ZL1 that’s completely stock. As a mechanic of 35 years and not new to turbos or superchargers. So looking at everything on the system for the supercharger, I realized I could increase the boost about 3 psi from stock without pulleys or tuning. The ECM is still in control and setting no codes. The factory gauge is now in between the middle and 15. I haven’t hooked up an actual gauge yet to see, but the car is now completely different. Breaks traction at 60 mph when floored. Makes instant boost at 1500 rpm. Torque is unbelievable now and traction control is almost useless even in stage 1

I've got some experience with bypass valves on the 6.2L and I think a lot of folks are running a 1-way valve between 30-40 psi to help prevent over-pressurization, has anyone else had any luck with this setup?

So you're lookin' to increase the PSI on your 21 Camaro using the bypass valve - that's a solid idea, and I've found it works better with the newer models, so you're on the right track. Just be aware that over-pressurizing your engine can lead to issues down the line, so start low and monitor your gauges. Did you already upgrade to a tune to match the bypass setup?

I've had the 2021 SS with the 6.2 EcoTech and found that the bypass valve helps in maintaining optimal boost pressure, but be aware that a direct bolt-on bypass kit might require some calibration to get it working seamlessly with the car's ecu. My buddy had to flash his tunes to get the desired results after installing the kit.
