2017 ZL1 front struts failed after 8000 miles
 

Anyone have or heard of this problem? The dealership replaced them under warranty. Their only advice was don't drive around in sport mode so often! Which seemed a bit odd to me.. 8000 miles and both front struts failed has me a bit worried.

does that mean they failed due to stiffness?
I don't think this car was made for our ****ty roads
