Slicks?

Do I need tubes with slicks?

What do you recommend for a 26 or 28 inch slick?

Ive never used a slick and not sure what all I need. Everyone on Craigslist keeps talking about tubes?

Do you feel these type of wheels are safe?
Im referring to the slotted universal. I am afraid of them, but this is a good deal.

Read the tires on the slicks. IF it says tubeless, then it is tubeless.... UNLESS, you have a 2 piece rim that divides in the center, THEN, and only then, you use a tube. Other than that, you don't have to use tubes if you don't want to.

The thing is, if you use a tube and you start turning the tire on the rim from so much traction/torque, you damage the tube and result in a flat. So you have nothing to worry about. Those people on craigslist just want to sell you useless crap. Judging by the looks of that picture, the rims are one piece. Other than that I would say buy them and check them out.

stuff the biggest slicks under the car you can fit more rubber means more traction if you are spinning
