I have a 98 V6 camaro and was thinking of putting a new hood on and wanted to know if the SS hood or the Trans Am hood looked better. I heard that with the trans am hood you can get ram air but not with the SS. Any insight would be great and if anyone has pictures of a camaro with the trans am hood that would be great as well.

 

SS hood. T/A hood looks best on... well, Trans Ams.

i dont think the TA hood would line up at all on a camaro.

 

The TA hood does line up (maybe with some mod) but it doesnt look good at all in my opinion, love the look of theSS hood though!!

 

The SS hoods look soo mean IMO.
I just wish they weren't so common

 

got any pics? it seems to me that the fenders are way more flared on the TA, so you would have to do some custom fabbing to that hood

 

i stand corrected, you can buy a ta hood for the camaro, it just looks ugly.......
