Locking hood pins

My car currentally has the Regualr hood pins on it.

I was looing into getting some new ones for it because they have gotten scratched and such over time and I saw these ones that instead of using the pins it has key holes..

Has anyone ever seen / used these?
Do they work well?
Any thoughts would be great. Thanks!
