Ok just a couple of questions for those of you who have done this before.... I am looking to put in some HID headlights and want to know what will give me the most natural light. Also... If I was to replace the OEM lights to put in some after market... would they be able to withstand the heat?

 

I don't think I have ever heard of HID being illegal.... but thank you for the info. When you say hack your housing, are you just talking about keeping the original housing, makeing mods, and just adding the HID kit or are you saying to replace the whole housing, lens and everything with an aftermarket projector headlamp kit? Again thanks for the info. Very helpful.
