Ok so im not really liking the stock z-28 hood on the 88s..... i was looking for a ram air.... anyone have any opinions on what they think is the best looking ram air hood (i was looking more towards the SS looking one, or big block hood) that will go on the third gens.....

The SS and regular cowl look good, the Turbo hoods all look gay as does the WS6 one.

 

yea i agree..... but the cowl i was looking at was the joeblong one... has a different look to it.... kinda unique...... but yea it says the SS hood isnt functional.... coulnt i make it functional byt cutting it????? i think the SS might look the best....

oo yea those pignose ws6 ones look horrible... YUCK.....

You probably could but I don't think you would get much benifit from it, putting a good cold air intake on would give the same results.

 

so basically it would be better to put on a cold air? and prob get a cowl u think? couldnt i just change the airbox and whatnot? ah well... i love that ss hood... but i think ill go with a cowl or so......

hisss u mean the Jongbloed cowl one i pointed out to JD??? i think thats the one im going to go for... still a while yet.... once i get it... the interior is first.... then exterior... then engine...
