Default Harwood 2.5" Cowl Hood.

I just bought a Cowl hood for my car.
im kinda undecided on what color im
gonna paint it. my cars white obviously.
But i was thinking of making the hood black.
would this throw the car style off. or make
it look better?

White or black????

personally , myself, I like the clean look of a 4th gen, I would paint it white with maybe some black accent on the cowl. Good looking car you have there.

Talking

I am having the same problem. I have a 96 white rs, going to change out hoods. You know talking about it now I think I am going with what DC2250 said. I am keeping it white and adding black stripes.

Thanks guys.....

when people paint a hood black (or some other color) when the car isn't, it's just a poorman's bad taste of trying to get a carbon fiber look.

that should be saved for the crappy looking ricer crowd

Years ago, before there even were carbon fiber panels, I wonder what people were trying to imitate when painting the hood black? Chrysler did it too. I guess they could see into the future?

I think it's nothing more than the need to be diffrent. After all why dose anyone customize a car?
