Default backspacing for a 98

ok i am a newb and still trying to figure out the site

i dont know if im just not looking in the right spots or what but...

i bent 2 of the rims on my 98 and insted of spending money on buying OE rims i would rather buy 4 new aftermarket rims, im pretty sure the stock rim is 16x7 5x4.75 but i can not find the backspacing so...

whats the needed backspacing for 16x7 rims?

I have a 98 as well tho its a z28, the OEM rims are 16x8 just some info. and yes its 5x4.75. Far as aftermarket rims go, Vette rims are lightweight, strong, look great, come in many sizes and you can buy them fairly cheap or theres draglites if your a track freak, or alot of people put TT series 2 on f-bodys.

Just go with salad shooter rims then. There very cheap, and very easy to find and you can just throw those tires on there sense there 16x8 as well

well i would like the rims to look nice, but i dont need vette rims or draglites

i would just go to belletire and tell them what i need the rims for, but i imagine like everything else you say the word camaro and the price doubles. so if i just tell them the size i need they can give me a price before they know what its for
