I've noticed that people have taken out the black stock plastic grill insert, and that there is CAMARO lettering behind it. I've only seen pics of SS's with this. Do the V6's have the same thing behind them, and would you reccommend taking out the black plastic grill?

 

yea its there, its ugly with out a grill. SLP makes some nice grills. look at my pic....

 

bluovlh8er I positively LOVE your grill but I have a question...where is your front license plate? Or are you not required to have on in your state?

 

Yeah i would go with a diff grill insert, cuz IMO it doesnt look good without

in ohio you are required to have a front plate. exept camaro's cause its ugly with em. so F it i dont have one. acctually i dont on my 95 either..................... never had any probs.

 

I was curious because I am looking for options with my front plate. I positively hate it...but here the cops catch people pretty quickly...well it seems like it anyway. Thanks for the input.

 

hey MochaCaliGirl, i also live in texas and have the SLP grille bluovlh8er has. texas doesent require you to have a front license plate. my cousin though has gotten some sh*t from H-E-B gas stations because he dosent havefront plateeither, and sometimes they wont turn on the gas pump for him because theydontknow his plate #.

 

what do i have to do to get the front license mount off of my grill?

just drill out the 3 rivets?

 

Then you can send it to me cause I just got pulled over for no front license plate and the stupid mount costs like 30 to 50 bucks
