I'm sure some of you have seen/heard of the 30th Anniversary White 5-star rims. A lot of 97's have them. But the time has come for me to put new rims on my 96 RS which is white with Black t-tops and was wondering if you guys would think white rims would look cool on a white car. I have seen a pic of a camaro with it before and it looked pretty wicked. I'm just having a hard time visualizing what they would look like on mine. Also does anyone know where i could find a set of 4? I checked ebay and I can only find single ones. Thx

 

the white rims came on the 30th anniversary Z28.. if you could find a pic of a 30th z28 with t-tops, you might get a decent image of what yours would look like.. only thing would be the 30th edition z's have hugger orange stripes..

as for where you could get a set of 4, im not really sure..

 

Do you think they will be pretty hard to find (expensive) because they were only manufactured stock with the special Z's?

^ the pic above is what they would look like on mine except i do not have the red stripes and have the RS package (ground effects etc.) I think they would look good. Black rims on a white car in my opinion would look rediculous. And silver is just another color to try to balance with the Black and White on my car already thats why I'm thinking these rims are a good choice. but if these are too hard to find or rediculously priced im sure there are other white rims out there.

oh wait.. those look like white SLP rims.. the Z28's had the same rims i do (in my sig) but white.. so you want the white slp or the white z28? the ones on the z28 are jsut like the usual stock 5 spoke 97-99 wheels, but white

 

Yeah I'd like that. Except i dont know how it'd look. I have the stock 96' RS rims right now that are getting pretty ****ty on me. I dont think they would look too good white. Thats why i am going for the 5-stars
