Z28 v.s. Chrysler 300C
Just last night, I took me Z/28 out one last time before I put it in the garage. While coming up a 2 lane road I noticed a newer car behind me flashing its lights on and off. I I moved over in the slow lane. But he stayed there. So I figured he wanted to race. I slowed down to about 40, and he pulled up just as we hit the long strait. I noticed on the side, it was a 300C. So we floored it I started pulling ahead on him. And very slowly he we aside me, then behind me and I was ahead. I was pretty surprised, seeing he should have alot more HP than I do. But I'm much lighter, and he's heavy. But It was pretty cool.

It could have been a v6 or hemi. Chances are it was a v6

RE: Z28 v.s. Chrysler 300C
I believe that the 300 C has the bigger motor, and just the 300 is the V6.

RE: Z28 v.s. Chrysler 300C
I looked it up and your right. It can be a 5.7 340hp or 6.1 425hp

RE: Z28 v.s. Chrysler 300C
I beat a 300c in my old 3.8 V6
it had the 3.5 HO V6 (more power than my 3.8 but those things are whales with wheels) |
RE: Z28 v.s. Chrysler 300C
race one with the 2.7, my Civic can run away and hide from those things all day long:D:D

RE: Z28 v.s. Chrysler 300C
the 6.1 is the srt-8 version i believe. youd know it if u were next to an srt anything. they look very different than the base models

RE: Z28 v.s. Chrysler 300C
The v6 is trash. Its a small engine for a heavy car. Even the hemi isnt all that fast for its power numbers.

RE: Z28 v.s. Chrysler 300C
It must have been the 5.7 then. Beacuase thats right, the 300C means it has a V-8. But if it was the 6.1 it would have said so on the side. But that's not enough horses for its weight. The 300C is supposed to weigh around 4,000 lbs! Damn...lol

RE: Z28 v.s. Chrysler 300C
300c is just the platform like the old ones were 300m there all 300c's just diff variations in engines..
