What are my chances?

What are my chances?
My friend has a 1998 mustang gt, its all stock(4.6 v8). I've got a 1988 350 5.7 TPI IROC. What are my chances of beating him. By the time this goes down we'll both have exhaust and k & n intake which wont add too much power but a difference nonetheless. His mustang has more miles as well. Thanks for the help

if so, you can probably take it.
the 302 mustang is slow in my opinion.
if your both manual, it comes down to the better driver.
his mustang might be a bit lighter, but it shouldnt matter.

Starting in 1997 the Mustang GThad the 2 valve overhead cam 4.6L. The 97 and 98's are the slowest years (99's got better heads and intake). They are not much, if any, lighter than a 3rd gen f body, so I would say it should be a good race with the Camaro having a slight advantage.
