Yea, the next day my friend found it, mom ended up calling the police station and asked the person about the ticket, and the woman who answered said she had never heard of anyone getting a ticket for that before...so I talked to the police chief and he said he would drop it, he said the cop was new...

 

well, that worked out well for you. i got cited for "not coming 100% to a stop",a dn the cop took my ID and i had to pay 120 to get it back..michigan sucks.

 

Yea, I got a ticket for, "running a stop sign." More like rolling through at the fast speed of 2 m.p.h. But still I did technically run it. All I got for it thought was defensive driving.

 

well, requested a court date, but since i just moved here, and i dont have the MI ID yet, so im not priority. they told me that it will be 6-8 months until i get a court date...

 

That's pretty rough. Right when you forget about it they will send you a letter requesting you to show up.
