SRT8 VS 2010 Camaro - Bench Racing...
OK, I will be honest here I own a 2006 SRT8 Charger, It has a Predator 91 CAI Tune and a Zoomers Cat-Back.. I ran 13.22 at Firebird Raceway in AZ when it was 107 degrees outside (summer time) on stock F1 tires..
I was just wondering what you guys think the 2010 Camaro SS would do with the same bolt-ons? NOW I am not talking crap about the Camaro, I might be in the market to purchase one, I have not made up my mind about it yet..
Anyways if you had to put money on a 1/4 mile race with just 2 minor bolt-ons each (no nitrous), Who would you put your money on?
Here is me and my car club making some passes that hot day, Just so you know I aint BS'ing you on the times..

You may ask why I posted this in a Camaro forum... I also own a 68 Camaro that I am building at this time so I look for info from you guys on that project...

Yeap a friend of mine just ran a 12.8 with his 6 speed 2010 bone stock down to the factory tires. He is now bolting the car with intake, Headers, exhaust and plans to have it tuned at the same time up at RPM. I would expect with smaller rims and sticky tires a bolted SS should be able to run 12.3-12.5 second 1/4 mile passes all day long.
Of course your time would have been a little faster if you where not living on the sun so i would say it would be a driver race your SRT8 vs a stock 2010 SS. The Auto cars tend to be a little slower
