So I was at my dads place last summer dragging his 81 camaro. The wAy the races work is it's split into four different groups American muscle, import turner, trucks and bikes. A 69 nova won the American muscle. Some sport bike won the bike. A multi colored mid 80s s10 won the the trucks and a brand new evo8 won the imports. Now the winners of each class raced each other the evo raced the bike and won. The s10 beat the nova. Now to understand the point of my story I'll tell a little about the last two cars. First the s10 the thing looked like someone pulled it out of the grove the week before. It was about 6 different colorsand full of rust holes. Now on to the evo the evo was brand new and was sponsered by the local mitubishi dealer so it was built up. Any ways long story short the s10 beat the evo by at least 2 cars. Oh and the s10 was driven by an 18 yeAr old kid

Like I said it's my dads so I don't know everything but what I do know is it has a 383 stroker. With a high rise manifold and an edelbrock 4 bbl. So yeah the hood isn't just for looks. It has a shift kit and larger stall convertor. Don't ask me what size cause I don't know. B&M ratchet shifter. Flowmaster true duels with electronic cut outs. Posi rearend
