I raced my buddies LT1 a couple weeks ago. its a 94 6sp with a k&ncold air and flowmaster exhaust and test pipe. i have a 87 iroc 305 TPI 5spwith headers no cat no emmisions gutted air boxes flowmaster and a/c deleted. we raced from a stand still and i jumped out on him cause he didnt start good.. didnt hook then he ran me down to w/in a length cause i started great and took off... his car is alot faster but he cant start at all cause then we raced form 10mph roll and he beat me by 2-3 lengths or so..

 

the lt1 will hand you your ***. and quit racing other camaro's lol [:@]

Sorry man the LT1 will stomp you every time but still not bad. The fact you where able to get off the line better vs a more powerfull car is a fact of life. I have seen SRT4 and Cobalt SS guys *****ing about there low 15 second times then see a guy that has good pedal control go out and run mid 14s with both cars.[>:]

 

Nothing better to make your car faster than a good driver mod.

i totally agree with them the lt1 hauls *** of the bottem end. i can stick my car from a dead stop and haul *** until that next lite. my only problem with my 4th gen is keeping them dam tranny mounts in it before they launch and break! any one have any ideas?

 

YEA GET THE PROPHANE OES OFF EBAY I DONT REMEMBR EXACTLY BUT MINE IS A BIG AS REDD BRICK LOOKING THING AND IT COSTED ABOUT 30BUCKS...NO MORE PROBS
