Ok so i got it and i intalled it into the MAF sensor. It did a little. Maybe 5 hp at max. But its whatever, how much can you expect from a $75 chip? I can only really feel it when i frist step on it. And my friend with the v6 mustang chickened out. But the next thing i want to do i cut out my cat. Ive got a friend that will do it for me real cheap, all i have to do is order the piping. Any comments? And i give permission to destroy me for the chip thing lol. I admit that was a rookie/stupid thing.

cutting out the cat will just make it raspy...the best thing to do is install a cutout before the cat so you have the option to either run your flowmaster or open exhaust

Hmm.....i'll have to think about it. My friend, who has a GT, said that it was great. HE said, that it would add about 15ish hp, better mpg, and louder sound, but if it will make it raspy....idk. And i dont want to spend a whole lot of money on this car, im just trying to make a fun v6 that can hold its own and be fun. If i had a v8, then i would get headers and the whole shbang. But thanks though, i'll check that out.

I had an 00 GT before I went to the fbodies. ur buddy really needs to do some research too. even on his v8 a cat delete will net 2-5hp on a good day. headers are the only way you will see any noticable gain. U will want to talk to the v6 guys about this, because i don't know what is available to you.

our v6 section has some guys that really know their stuff. i would recommend starting there. catbacks should never be considered performance mods

Ok, as usuall, i expected too much hp to come out of it lol. They said a slight gain in hp, but if i was serious i would go with a cutout b4 the cat or just a high flow cat. And about the catback not being a performance mod? Why do you say that? Now ok, my friend told me that his borla added a ton of hp. Im not challenging you, its just what he told me lol

if he had a plugged cat it would add a bunch of hp to open it up. at least untill it lets go of any leftovers and plugs the muffler.
