just looked it up...the 06 GT only has 172hp...however i imagine it's fairly light car

 

my friend that i rocked isnt a gt but i did take a gt from a dig not to long ago if he bet u from a roller he out drove you this happens its 172 front wheel though bad is right its a light car even so the carmaro heavier but its not a brick by any means pull u crush him in torque so u should have been ahead but anything can happen out their ya know

Ok my freind (also known as Jnich023 on this site) drives a 96 RS 3.8 wiht a CAI... bout 3 days ago we raced my other freind with a 96 tiburon FX 2.0, CAI, Headers, exhaust, crankshaft, ecu... they have the same stock engine as the 01... Camaro put about half a car on it!

WMadam11 you are a complete liar, the Tiburon was not around it 1996...I asked my friend lol. And also they cant be that bad with a full exhuast, ecu, and crank(which usually add quite a bit of power). So idk I call BS on your part man! Unless you can prove it, Id say the Tib would have taken it with that or atleast come really close. Seeing that I race my buddy quite often lol.
