Ugh, silly middle aged mothers. An uneeded crowd, right, since those people aren't around regularly. I'm hoping my local strip doesn't get shut-down due to noise, but it's been there a helluva lot longer than any of the new houses that are being built, so hopefully that will effect the decision somewhat. I just want it to open back up and me to get some free time so I can go and run again!

 

I hate when things like that happen, if you dont like noise, dont buy a house near a dragstrip... Its simple logic really....or common sense, which is more and more elusive these days...

I have a modded sixer in the camaro. And I didnt get into the 14s, but I did have one hell of a night. Went 4-1 and ran a 15.1, I also made 3 passes solo. Im going to write a thread about it in a minute.

 

what exactly you have done to the 3.8? you arent geared are you? i was really expecting to see a mid 14 out of it. lol. dont know why, just was.

 

Basiclly I have Aluminum driveshaft, headers, gutted car, exhuast & a modified air lid with a K&N filter. I have other mods, but noth that would help me in the 1/4. Im sure I could get a 14.99 out of her if the conditions were right & I made a perfect pass, but it just didnt happen. I didnt really exspect a 14. I have an automatic & I have the 3.08 gears. If I had a manual with 3.42, I would be able to run 14.7 no problem. 3.42s are comming, and then hoppfully my next mod will put me in the low 13s[sm=badbadbad.gif]
