My Camaro vs Buddys Toronado

I am running a 92 Camaro rs 305 5L. I don't really plan on racing much, more for a fun car to drive so I am not gonna be dropping a 350 into it. Gonna make my 305 a little more fun ;D.

I am not really sure what engine he is running, all I know its pretty beasty. Some v8 thing with 300+ hp. Eats gas like its going out of style. Its a 1970 or a 1968 one. I am pretty sure I can smoke him. Just not 100%

His Toronado would have a puny 455 c.i. engine, with either the 375 or 400 h.p. option.
Although it's a heavier car than yours, I wouldn't go writing your victory speech just yet!

yeah i agree camaro..yeah it might be heavier but i wouldn't say you have it in the bag since his car has more hp and alot more torque than yours. what rear gearing do you have? and him?

haha, I am not sure about gears in both our cars atm. I am guessing stock on mine. His car has had some work. I only say I have a slightly higher advantage cause I take care of my engine, his just collection dust. (needs some major repairs) But yeah, that 455 don't sound to punny, I just looked it up.

So will my 305 even be able to stand toe to toe with his 455? With out heavly modifying it. ( gonna end up modding it, but not before we tango at least once.)

he's either gonna roll the hell out on you, or he's going to spin like a deranged idiot. don't forget guys that the Toronado is a FWD car.
