I took my z28 to school for the first time and after class as i was getting into my car, a guy with a lancer evo was parked next to me and as we were on our way out of the parking lot he cut me off (doing like 80 in a 30 ricer style), so i met up with him at a light, there was a lot of traffic so no opportunity to race but he was revving at me before he had to switch lanes behind me to get over in the left turning lane, and that was that. I'm sure i'll run into him again, as all the sporty cars/muscle cars park in the back lot. how fast are these cars. I know there turbo'd cause well, i heard the turbo. but other than that i don't know anything about them.

 

if you both can drive it will be a close race. the AWD gives them great hole shots but you should reel him in. quarter mile times are pretty comparable. chances are he wont high rev dump it so you may be able to take it. most hs kids cant push an awd car to its limit

eh, either way. is he modded? if you had a few mods under the hood this would be a whole lot easier.

 

yeah i haven't gotten the chance to mod yet cause i got the car like a week ago and i'm broke until i sell my v6. as far as his car, i have no idea. I only saw him look at my car for a little bit, get in his car, peel out and rev at me later on the highway.

 

Spec, i saw u have a lid, and a lot of people have CAI's. since i'm first gonna start modding soon, is there a major difference between the two. is it worth it doing a whole CAI, or should i just get a lid? I saw JD only has a lid too and his cars a beast, so i thought maybe it's not necessary to get a CAI.

Challeng him to a rear wheel burn off... I get a kick out of that... They don't like that so much...

 

spector is right should be pretty close granted you get a good launch and me being another ls1 owner i know the tires like to come un glued alot even if you got a good set of rubber. but dont be supprised if you get your *** handed to you.
