The 98 is not the best year of the 4.6but he has you by a few horses and a good bit of torque. I would have to go with the stang.

It could be a close race. I raced my buddies 98 GT in my 99 3.8, from a 30 roll were were dead even till about 80 and he began to pull slightly. From a dig he got me a little better and had about a car maybe car and a half on me.
