FYI.. it's a 160HP v6. i hope a twin turbo can take it... and a 86 Iroc is about just as fast as a 3.8 V6 camaro.

Well what model of 3000gt do you have? My 90 Iroc (350 TPI, 4 speed auto) beat a 97 3000gt without even breakin a sweat. And you say get a real car??? Pshh boy, you wouldnt know a real car until you saw the rear of a camaro stomping you.

 

Fwd? Try doing a brakestand and see how cool it makes you look. You'll get all the ladies when the wrong tires break loose and they hear that weed whacker of a motor screaming. The difference between a base 3000gt and a VR4 is almost like an 04 V6 'Stang and a supercharged 04 Cobra. A base 3000gt has 160hp and is fwd, a VR4 has 320hp with awd and 4 wheel steering. Two totally different cars as far as powertrain goes. You can't say your 3000GT is fast just because the rare as hell VR4 is fast.

well first off... the 97 3000gt is the failure year of 3000 gts. only put down 161 hp i have a first gen 3000 gt 93'... N for the record a base model gt puts down 222hp FWD on the 3.0 DOHC 6G72. only yr it had 160 was 97' quit making the 3000gt out 2 be a POS when u dont know wut ur talkin

 

this is a site for camaro advice, what are you doing on here bragging about your import? Your 3000Gt would get spanked by my lightly modded Z.
