idk bout that. i think the 3rd gens have enough room for basically whatever you want, if you have the money, but if the 350 is already doing 550HP, it's prolly your best bet money wise, and should run atleast a low 13 with a good setup. im gonna guess a mid 12.

well the 350 is designed to run on race fuel, needs a new crankn not sure wut else. when he had it in his nova he was playin in the pits, stomped on itn the crank dented the oil pan or sumpin like that prolly needs a rebuild figured i could get it cheap off him definatly wouldnt be a streetable engine. but i figured that would be my best bet for the engine. plus he happens to work in a transmission shopthat i know every1 that works there...should have the hook up on performancedrive line

bring on ur trans am my friend that races there drives a WS6 slighty modded, he won a NHRA Wally trophy wit the car at music city raceway. maybe ill have my camaro done by then if not my GT will take care of ya

 

my TA put down more hp at the rear wheels than a vr4 makes at the motor when I had nothin but an intake and exhaust. that was a loooon looong time ago . Ill race ur GT and we wont even have a drop or honk off, ill just let u go, try to catch me off guard

 

 

it's not that hard to do the conversion, i've done it in my 1990 RS. it's almost all bolt in (have to find a different trans mount).

but i would suggest that you find a 4th gen donor car for the trans, you're going to be using most of the parts for the trans out of that car anyways
