He hasn't been here in a little while so I'll have to get back with you. Here's the capper!! Before he challenged me to a race he claimed he works on cars all the time and his mom told me that's all he does is work on cars. So I said cool. I asked him to change my opti and plugs and wires because it was Friday and I was going to the bar. He looked at the engine and said ok. He took my car from my work at about noonish and at about 7pm at night he dropped off my car.....with the same opti still on the car!! He couldn't do it!! I laughed but I gave him $20 for trying.

 

The EG6 is a light car only waighs about 2400 pounds to start out with gutted out I would say around 2200 or so pounds. Depending on the engine he might or might not win. If its any D series SOHC engine you will kill him with no problem even with a turbo you should have no problem. If it’s a LS “the none VTEC 1.8L and he doesn’t have a turbo or a large shot of nitrous he doesn’t stand much of a chance and even with it would be a good race, Even a GSR “the VTEC 1.8 DOHC� with head/internal work and full bolt on’s wouldn’t make more than 240WHP on all motor. The H22 “Prelude 2.2L DOHC VTEC� has a little more kick than the B series with a good amount of work this engine can make 280WHP easy after being built up stock is 205 crank HP. The K20 is the one you have to look out for out of the RSX type S, It makes 217 Base HP stock and has a lot stronger power band than the H22 And the B18C3, Plus it runs a 6speed trany and handles mods good, And is about 100 pounds lighter than the H22, I have seen a mild 95 civic coupe a friend of mine dyno in with only the swap, Headers, Exhaust, Intake, tune dyno in at 230 WHP with cams and a built bottom end this engine can run between 280 to 350 HP depending on how aggressive you go with it with out going to forced induction. You also have the B16 160BHP, ZC 130BHP, B18C5 out of the type R 195BHP. I hope this helps.

 

i have something to add to this forum, there is a little civic maybe from the years of 1992-97 somewhere around here, he running a small block chevy (blown), built up to just about everything that exists including nos, turbo 350 tranny, and a ford 9" rear end, i've seen this guy run down one of the busiest streets around here racing people and just completly beating the crap out of them, its ridiculous, nobody knows if this guy races it at the track at all, but i dunno if i would even be able to beat this guy, rumor has it around here is that hes building an integra with a big block chevy and just ridiculous mods to it, i dunno how they do it, but they do

 

I don't believe that. I've seen 1 V8 civic on the internet and it was not streetable.

 

Big mouth was back today and he had to make sure that I knew that, what were his words, "HE ATE A CAMARO TODAY"!! There is a long stretch of road by my work and he said the camaro was an LT1 and he spanked it. From the way it sounded it was from a roll because he said that the camaro tried to pass him and he floored it and the camaro couldn't ccatch up. Fricken ricers! Even if he wins then I'll be 5-1 against Hondas!
