If you know how to drive a stick shift then you will take him. From what I understand, the Chargers aren't all that impressive.

And from what I've heard neither are the new Challengers. But you need to get the car first.

It should have a rev limiter in it. I am not sure what the redline is stock on an LS1. Perhaps in the videos you have been watching the people have some upgrades to the valvetrain. That or maybe the gauge doesn't reflect when the rev limiter actually is.

Vehicle curb weight plays a big part into this equation.
Correct me if my figures are off, but the Charger comes in at 4160 lbs. and the Camaro weighs 3571 lbs.
With the Charger, 340 h.p. in a 4160 lb. car = roughly .082 h.p. per pound.
With the Camaro, 320 h.p. (LS1 in stock form) in a 3571 lb. car = roughly .09 h.p. per pound.
Unless your legs go numb, you should be able to walk all over him...and lose him more yet in the turns.

Not too mention that the 22's slow him down quite a bit, more rotating mass. and with the higher tire, makes like a higher gear.
