ill start by telling you what iv got... 81 camaro with a 383 stroker in it, world heads, mild racing cam, eagle crank, KB pistons and rods, holley 670 street avenger carb, and hedman headers... turbo 350 3 speed tranny and my passing gear isnt hooked up...

was behind my dad who drives a SVT f 150 (lightning) on a lil back woods country rd... i pull up close to him and go into neutral and rev if a few times at him, about that time i see black smoke shoot out of his tail pipe and he takes off... so i had to pop back into drive and at the speed i was going i was already in 3rd gear with no passing gear hooked up... i caught back up to him in 3rd gear and probably would have went to pass him but i looked at my rpms and i was climbing to close to 6000 and i just rebuilt the motor... in the middle of breaking the motor in... well i layed off after i got back to on his *** and he kept going... needless to say he claimed he left me and doesnt believe that i layed off the gas... but i dont really care... i thought it was awesome that my car caught up to a lightning like that.

have you had your car to the track?

 

not yet, i want to get a better rear gear and do some suspension work first before i take it to the track... im gonna have it dynoed soon though to see what the exact rwhp is.
