Ok so,Last weekendIwent back home from college and i got my 85 z28 w/a 350 out and went cruisin around. Now i've only lost on the street once to a 96 gt mustang, so this 99corvette turns onto the street i was on and revs at me while he goes by, then he turns around and follows me for a while, we pull up to the next light and i asked him to run, so we went outside of town for a bit. It was a stock 99 corvette, w 6 speed, i was pretty excited cause ive raced alot of mustangs and camaros and such, but never a corvette, so
1st run: from a dig he beat me by about a 1/2 car length up to 135mphbut i short shifted into 2nd
2nd run: from a dig i reved the hell outa mine and ended up winning by about 1 car length up to about 120mph
3rd run: from a 20 roll, he beatme goodby a car length i'd say.
Right after the last run we stopped and was talkin, and a cop drives by the lot we were in and turns around and asks if everything is ok, then takes off. Hadme worried though.
Also i had 3 ppl in my car and he had 2, so he had a good weight advantage on me.It was a fun night though

um...its just a 350 bored 30 with cam anddart heads, street dominator intake,650 holleydouble pumper, hooker short tube headers into single pipe stock exhaust. 700R4 trans with shift kit and 3200 stall, and stock 10 bolt with 3.42
it really nothin special, a couple grand in the motor and tranny...was adaily driver untill thisyearr at college and i bought a mountaineer but it'll get 21 mpg all highway miles
my best pass was at MAD in Ark city last year: 12.97 @106
