The 3000gt is extremely heavy and its not really that fast, without its twin turbo awd its pretty much handicap. Even with the awd the 80% of the time I see the drivers bog the hell out of the car and just F up their chances on a good reaction time and the car hes racing would be like 5 cars ahead.

Well well well glad to see u people haven't forgot about me now... the sl is slow... base models are faster then the sl's due to power/weight ratio... vr4s are really heavy but awd/twin turbos make up for it a lil...I know my base model gt will run really close 2 a v6 camaro(if the driver knows his car well) if not ima get it by maybe a 1/2car - car length... i dont know about the sl... but it will be close

Hey now, I just happen to have both a 1994 3000gt SL and a Camaro just my Camaro is a 2002 z28 so my daily driver SL is well just a daily driver. I have had my 3kgt for 4 years now and it is a 5spd. I raced a good friend of mine who has the Camaro 3.8L. I beat him by almost a car, from a dig the camaro has the advantage if it is a manual if not....
