2012 ZR1 Kill
 

Just kidding.
I was on my way home last night at around 11. I pulled up to a notoriosly long light that just went red so I am hunkering down. Next thing I know a ZR1 pulls up next to me and I start to stare. I am a Corvette freak and this is the first ZR1 I have seen on the street. The guy driving must have noticed me drooling because he rolls down the window and we start to talk. After about a minute he asks if I want to see it run And I say hell yeah!
What happened when the light went green was inexplicable. I heard wheels chirp and he disappeared. I am comvinced that I witnessed time travel. I got lucky because this guy knew what he was doing behind the wheel. I promptly continued home with a **** eating grin on my face the whole way.
Not a race but I figured I would share anyways.

Wow...

I've YET to see one on the street. But the numbers speak for themselves.



The CTS-V is my second most coveted ride... which is all BUT as far into fantasy land as the ZR1. But I have sidled up upon several CTS-Vs who will only go until they're rolled up, with is somewhere at the top of 2nd or the bottom of 3rd.
