1994 Camaro VS 1968 Mustang
Ok so a friend of mine just bought a '68 Mustang and he wants to race. You all know everything about my car so I'll tell you what he told me about his. At first I thought it would be a decent race because he said it has a 302. Then he goes saying it has a brand new motor, 5-speed tranny, and rear end. apparently it's pushing 700hp with a cam alone?
So now his story changes. He says "oh my bad, it has a 351 in it"
Initially when he said that it was a 302 I was all like "hell yeah lets line em up" and now that he's saying 351 with a 5-speed and it has an aftermarket cam, I'm scared. I already agreed to race. Any suggestions?

Maybe, 302's were kind of weak, depending on what kind the guy had installed into it. Most came out of the factory producing about 150-250 horsepower at the crank. If its a newer 302 crate motor or a Boss 302, those are definitely producing more than 300 horsepower at the crank.

I'm scared. I know I'm going to get my *** handed to me. And if I bail, I'll look like a *****. Maybe I need to borrow my buddy's maroon 6-speed Z28 for a day. It literally looks just like mine! He wouldn't know the difference except he'd think he got his *** beat by a sixxer lmao

Along with getting my *** handed to me and having to drive away with all his friends laughing at me? Who knows, maybe he'll miss every gear and I'll have a chance. After all the kid has only been driving for 3 months.
