I just got a 97' SS 30th anniversary edition. One day after work I was taking a buddy to a car rental place a semi had just creamed his cooper and his wife was using the other car. He is into racing also we were goin about 40 when a 03' mustang ulled up next to me and waited about a second then just took off. So I dropped it into second and romped on the gas instantly I started gaining and went to third and passed him almost right away again. we got up to about 120 in a 35 zone then hit traffic and a stop light. That was the end of that. It was a GT by the way not sure about mods but sounded like at least exhaust.

 

I dont think the guy in the mustang knew how to drive...ive ran the older 90's model mustang gt's and they keep up with my car and its the same as yours....but i dont see the newer 99+ GT's staying/loseing to are car.

 

K but I still had fun that day it was the first race I had in that car. Rebuilding the engine though so what are some of the mods that will help me get the most horsepower the fastest.

 

Redneck...You have a V6, he's got an SS. That mustang was toast as soon as he thought about racing the SS...

 

OHHH I didnt see the big SS part LOL i just paid attention to the '30th camaro' part and was oo its like mine doh! yea you really should of stomped a hole in that car lol great kill then :-D
