Cordless tools

I have always been an air tool guy, last year I got a cordless impact and sawsall from Eastwood.com for Christmas. It was cheap and I figured it would be nice for You-pull-it runs. Since I had them I started using the impact around the shop for small jobs to avoid firing up the compressor. I got use to no line so recently I have been looking for better versions and a newer battery system that had the most options.

So what are you guys running and why?

I was thinking about starting with this

Sears.com

And add this
New Craftsman C3 19 2V Max Axess Auto Ratchet Bare Tool 38596 with Accessories | eBay

And
Sears.com

im using all 18 volt dewalt, 3/8 impact is handy, also have a heavy 1/2 inch impact that gets lugs and hard turning bolts, its kinda big. got a cutoff/grinder, drill and a driver. also picked up a power grease gun for the boat,,, sorta. get the xrp battery, more power and last longer.

I was checking out the dewalt 18v stull. They had a lot of tools available. The dewalt seem to cost more at least to get started. The dewalt grind and 1/2" impact was closer to $300. By the time my wife found all the discount I bought the above grinder/Impact combo for $140 ish. I also ordered a ratchet for $30 shipped, I did not even see a ratchet for the dewalt system. Of course the nice thing about Dewalt is you can get that anywhere. Sears goes under and I am screwed.

Milwaukee was the other brand I check out but their prices are super high unless you are getting discontinued stuff.

Craftsman stuff seem pretty nice. The 1/2" impact as no issue with unbolting wheels torqued to 100Ft/lbs. The ratchet works great but it is a little bulky. Only time will tell on reliability
