about to put on my LT headers

anybody got some tips or tricks?

ur going to have to either loosen the bolt on the drivers side motor mount and jack the motor up about an inch or remove the steering rack. the header wont slip in otherwise. but neither takes very long

did you put them in?

I took out the steering shaft and unbolted both motor mounts, jacked up the motor and the headers went in from the top on both sides. Of course the passenger side was the toughest but just push the motor to one side and they drop in. Now getting the egr tube to cooperate was another story.

yea just got them on yesterday i just had to take out the steering shaft and on the passenger side i just shaved down the k member a little...well alot lol

i just plugged my egr cuz there was no where to put it in my header

freeze plugs from autozone work perfect to plug the egr hole.

i cant remember which size i used. like 2.5" give or take. measure, buy a couple, and return the ones that dont work
