Hey i have a 02 z28 with slp lid, flowmaster 40 series, diablosport tuner, 4 11 gears, and long tubes and fast toys ram air on the way what should i do next that isnt turbo or nitrious? Oh and im only 16 so i dont have alot of money.

 

n2o. you cant turbo a ls1 with outlowering the compression.

look into zex nitrous kits, they are prolly the simplest kit for noobs... (no offence)

 

i dont really want nitrous cause i got 86000 miles and i dont wanna reck my engine

 

turbo would be just as bad for ur engine. I have that many miles on my engine and i put about a half dozen bottles through it each summer

 

the onlyother thing would be a cam. its going to run u about 700 to do it urself and do it right

 

you have an 02 z28 with all those upgrades at the age of 16 and you say you dont have money? Did you just spend all your money, or are you like every other kid in my school and got it from your parents?

At any rate, ill agree with the cam, or maybe a Fast intake manifold with a Fast throttle body.

 

no way would I do those things. hes got the ls6 intake already which is good until after he does cam AND heads. also, those things cost about a grand

i have tests until next thursday, so possibly that weekend ill be rolling around CR. im hoping to have a couple things in before then so I can quiet my car down. last thing i need is all those DSM guys hustling me since my car is making alot of noise

 

lol i hear ya im putting a car back on my car. IT's just way to damn loud. Me and my buddy with a lowered maxima and 17 in rims usually hang out with a few rx8's. They're all kool. Nothing ricey. Everything is clean and not over done. It'd be kool to hang out, and i would love to get a few hours with you and just listen to your knowledge. lol i love to just listen and learn we usually go hid a local curvy road for fun and then go talk and hang out somewhere by our selves. We've found the ricers attract cops, but a few clean rx8's a clean maxima and a clean camaro just sitting there doesnt really bother them much. Its' the cavaliers with no hoods and stupid **** like that. Send me a message if u r.
