However on a more serious note I thought a few more of you guys would have at least appreciate the little MG for what it is, not one f-ing vote
I like the american cars for there stupid size and massive engines straight line performance and inability to turn, but hey its character right
I love the MG and it looks like one hell of a restore project. A friend of mine has one that we have been working on and off of for some time. But you do have to remeber what type of forum this is. The same thing can be said about the chevelle's, They are great looking cars but i would say that about 70% of this forum is performace. Not too many guys on here have number matching vehicals or full out restores. All three of the above are about as true of a american muscle car as you can get.

Still i would have liked to see at least a few votes for the little MG they are fun little cars to play around with .

But i dont know about american cars not being able to handle. The LS1 SS/WS6 handle pretty damn good for a solid axle car, The Vette could be one of the most well rounded cars in the world, and even the IRS 03/04 cobra's can tear up a road course.

I still haven't voted yet, but I decided to vote for the 69.

I think the TA is sick, but it's supposed to be OUTLAW month lol, to me it's the same exact thing, just another F body.

its ok guys i was just having a rant, i know im asking a lot for a camaro forum. im only 23 and bought and rebuilt it and it may not be fast but its fun, and for a 1974 engine that we have in it making 80bhp (fly) and its a 1500cc is pretty impressive Im just having a laugh about the handling, my camaro now is well solid after the suspension and i think i need to mod myself as a driver before i can push it, and i can still get subframes and sway bars. (my pals skyline gts-t with coilovers still ran me in circles I ment the MG is a good handler for an old car, i love watching the classic autocross from the 1970, its so funny when the little MG etc take over all the camaros, firebirds, stangs on the corners and then blown away in the straights.

I know its outlaw, but with the way the votes have gone im gonna go with the TA, its better than a boat! Due to the ability to use it all year round

That's a tiny engine for a car,even for a 4 banger.
My V2 Harley is a 1550cc and makes 105hp at the rear wheel lol.

Those MG's are fun,feels like 100mph doing 60mph.

the car only weighs around 700kg, so roughtly 100bhp/1000kg, which is respectable for a 1970 car. Yer i did 80mph in it with top down, felt like a 100+ ha ha.

You make me laugh with the 'thats small for a 4 banger', my pal has a brand new VW golf with a 1.4 tsi engine , its a 1400 with a turbo and supercharger in a car that weights over a ton, its got 167bhp and 177lb/ft torques, and does 50mpg driven sensibly, not bad for a 4 banger indeed lol

You could drop in a L16, L18, or even a L20 and have some real fun . I think the L16 is rated at like 92bhp with the factory fish bowl 2bbl. I am sure if you droped a L20 in there with a nice little weber you would be well over 100hp at the wheels and that my friend would be one hell of a ride in a MG.

And yes i think i have been nomed twice for ride of the month when the 4th gen section came around but was shoot down do to it not being a "camaro" I think that 3rd and 4th gens should be able to run in ROTM since they use chevy drive lines. Its not like a pontiac LS1 or 350TPI is any diffrent from a chevy LS1 or 350TPI set up. I can understand back in the day when chevy had its 454 HO and pontiac had its 455-SD they where two very diffrent engines and some what diffrent cars but the last two generations where the exact same other then the trim and finish.

But of course this is a camaro forum so i also understand why you wouldnt want to left Firebirds and TA's run. But at the day a F-body is a F-body and we are all tied by the love of this true american built car 1st,2nd,3rd,4th, and yes even 5th gens.

cbr, yer i have plans to drop a 2000cc rover twin cam engine in, and it will be pretty mad, but the car is 'too' nice for me to rip the front end off so i might sell and get sometihing else, we'll see. Plus i need a little funding for the next camaro mods. i agree your TA should be in normal 4th gen ROTM cause its still and fbody

Y2K, sorry but american does not seem develope anything small , ha ha. Like the camaro is big, but not as big as some american cars, and i have trouble fitting it into parking areas in the UK, its about 2 foot longer than every space
