OOOOK so, a couple years ago my dad was doing some work on the side for a friend of his. and he was coming back from a job and was exiting the highway. he was rolling up on a red light and was slowing down. the light turned green before he got to it so he put his truck back in gear and maintaned his speed(which was about 35 mph) so as he rolled through the intersection a lady in an infiniti sedan blew through a red light(40-50 mph) and they smashed into each other. he actually t-boned her right behind the drivers seat. which turned his little 2 door nissan pick up truck into a boomerang. so the combination of the impact, the rotation of his truck, the speed she was going, him hitting the end of the seat belt, and the airbags not deploying, damn near broke his neck. but instead of breaking his neck it tore just about every muscle in his neck/right shoulder area. not to mention dislocating his right shoulder, and cracking almost every rib. and the chick just had a bruised arm...:mad::mad:. and the real icing on the cake is the fact that not only was she speeding, and flat out ran the light, but she had to go around 3 other cars that were stopped at the light. and her excuse was that she was trying to catch her husband cheating on her, oh btw she was on her cell phone too, talking to her girl friend who was "tipping her off" about her husband. and i'm not tryin to be racist here, but she was black. and by black i mean ghetto fab type black.

so yeah hes lost a great deal of movement in his neck and right shoulder, and from a day to day basis has to deal with an enormous amount of pain and soreness. the docs told him that theres nothing really they can do except treat the pain. and that this is something he just has to live with, and one day it MIGHT start to get better.
