whens is it gnna b 4th gen ROTM time.. next month? cuz thats mostly what we see here 4th gens.. would be a good competition.. and also is there has there or will there be a v6 ROTM and V* ROTM.. since its kinda obvious ppl will vote for a z28 over a v6

ROTM is going through some changes right now and things haven't been finalized yet. Currently 4th gen ROTM is in April and it's looking like there will be some kind of V6 competition later in the year. Specter can probably answer all of that better than I can.

maroman, go into the ROTM catagories thread and give ur input there. Btw, 4th gen noms and voting will be next month. We havent decided on anything perminant yet, but it may be for early 4th gens only 93-97

im sry but this is a camaro forum not a t/a forum so ride of the month pretty much means camaros only if there is a month we nom anything else then a camaro im sad to say but i will agree with all the pple hating on camaroforums

that is your opinion. but there has already been pretty universal support for 1 month out of 12 with non-camaro cars eligible. That is hardly grounds to hate on camaroforums, especially keeping in mind that ROTM recently hasnt had much activity at all. This thread really should be locked, and all of this discussion belongs in the "catagories" thread

the reason the rotm is been ****ty is cuz the pple runing it have done a piss poor job and this is a camaroforum "CAMARO" is the key word i lov ur car and t/a's but this is not the site to be noming ur car at.. i wouldnt go to a civic site and try to get my car nomed no matter how good of friends i am with them....

u have actually missed alot.
those who originally did it did a great job but havent been around. leaving other mods to pick up the slack when they dont necessarily have the time. This is why we are discussing these things, because we want to make ROTM fun for every member on the site. that doesnt necessarily mean we HAVE to include a month for non-camaro's but if u check out the catagories thread u may see u will be outvoted pretty quickly. The key thing is we want a good competition, something that will draw alot of attention. thats how we make ROTM fun.
if u have something to say on this matter go discuss it in the ROTM catagories thread. thatis why that thread was made.

if you feel so strongly about this we can reinclude outsiders into the catagory vote (due to the fact that everyone included it in the list they would like to see, it was just given a slot). We have already said that all of the months will be camaro only because this is a camaro forum. head into that thread, give some suggestions. if you are only going to poopoo on ideas without offering some to replace them (after all, we need to fill 12 monts, and 3 sets of 1-4th gen rotm is pretty freaking boring) dont waste ur time.

i second that notion specter, i like this forum a hell of alot more than any other forums out there, there is no firebirdforums.com or transamforums.com...nd besides, we have the same cars...there both f-bodies, camaro has a bigger name though because its a chevy rather than pontiac, although we are all under GM...nd i am a former camaro owner thats why i joined this site, nd i just recently bought my t/a

meteor, its important that u understand me too. If i currently had the ability i would just lock this thread with a link to the catagory thread. that is where this discussion belongs. Because it is the set lists we generate there that will get voted on. if you dont like a catagory but werent involved there its nobody's fault but your own.

Everyone wants to be ride of the month. but we need to remember that this is a camaro forum and above all else ROTM is for them. fortunately for u and I most of the guys in the other thread have supported the idea of a non-camaro month, but even I as an outsider wouldnt want more than 1 per year. But I have intentionally kept my feelings quiet (even tho its should be obvious that i would support such a month too ;)) because of the responsibility im going to have to this forum. I cant go pushing my wants on the rest of the guys just because i have the ability. Like i said, if u guys have any disagreements or wishes for the catagories, go talk about it in the appropriate thread.

nonono, this isnt the non thread. I was saying we will be voting on a list of catagories to take up the 2-3 months with nothing in them.
ive already seen u post in there, so look around in there and see what im talking about. we need to come up with 2 or 3 new catagories and there have already been alot of good ideas
