ya that was on the original engine and trans. the po saved all the receipts and service reports from EVERYTHING he had done to it, after reading through most of that the oil was changed almost every 3k miles, its on its third alt, second water pump and rad, and he had the trans fluid and filter changed every year (January 2nd every year). theres more but those were the major things.

 

got some other stupid little stuff done

trying to bring the white into the car



and the VTEC dash light, when its not lit you wont even know its there

 

got the headliner recovered, suede. i have the sunroof cover almost done i ran out of glue to fold over the edges. i also have to go to the junkyard and find some sunvisors from a newer civic, the factory ones are just a steel frame with some foam in it and vinyl thats been heat sealed around the edges.

 

just finished the repairs on the sunroof

got some sunvisors from a 03 civic today 3$ a piece tomorrow i should be getting a glass sunroof to replace the steel one 30$

well i had to put the prelude on hold for a minute. i was driving my moms 300 and hit the curb pulling into the bank and busted the rim, it cost me all my "engine money" to get it fixed sooo... i need to start saving again.





one little update tho, ive decided im going to be using a 2.3L SOHC VTEC engine and manual trans form an 02 accord 46K miles.

 

A lil bit super glue and clear she woudnt notice.
