Not mine but exactly like it,even the same **** brown lol.
'72-'73 and yes that is the stock exhaust but not a 4-2 it was the same on both sides.
The little 500four was almost as fast as the 750four,not as much power but a lot lighter.

4-4, that makes sense. It looked like a 4-2 in the pic, hence my confusion. lol, all this vintage bike talk makes me want a cx650 (that odd honda with the high/low range) or an early cb750F.

Of all the UJMs I had and there were a few,the Yamahaha XS 650 Special was my favorite.
Not the fastest thing on the planet but it had wonderful low end grunt and a great exhaust note like the Triumphs it was cloned from.
Pretty comfortable little cruiser as well, far better than the old brick Honda 500.

If I was going to by an affordable used bike, I think I would get an 1100 Virago. The 750 I had was a nifty bike, had a surprising amount of torque, and the twin sounded pretty good with the pipes it had. But it was the early style ones, I wasn't too fond of the style. But the next ones looked really good. I'd like one in this color:

Here's the one I had for a while. It had way too many problems, and got to the point where I sold it out of frustration. Found out after I sold it that it was a common ignition problem, easy fix. Oh well.

Oh, I also forgot about the dirtbike I had. I think it was a 79 TL125.

The sun is out! We all should meet up for a BBQ sometime, or just go for a cruise somewhere. Or a bike ride, lol

None that I know of, but I'm looking around. Might have to make our own cruise.
