Camaro owners in oregon?

It gets pretty crowded at Ocean Park too,in fact the whole Long Beach Peninsula gets packed but man-O-man there are thousands of nice cars there.
According to the link I posted the Ocean Park run is September-12-13, 2009.
If we go this year we will probably stay down in Garibaldi,my brother retired and bought a home there so I have a free place to stay.
It's 82 miles from Garibaldi up the coast to Ocean Park, just far enough for a nice drive along the Ocean in the morning to get there and not too far to go back for the night.
I think I see a plan coming together here.

They are at different times. The muscle beach cruise is in June on the 20th at seaside. Makes me wish I had a bit older of a car that I could actually enter in some shows, most are for 72 and under. I need to look up the dates of speed week and see if the long beach show conflicts. I'd like to go back to the salt flats again this year.

Here's a list of events in Oregon that might be worth looking at.

The one I was posting about is indeed the same weekend as long beach, different event than Muscle beach.

Here's the Washington list too... http://www.oldride.com/events/washington.html
Funny the Long Beach run isn't listed but I found one just 6 miles from my place up here in sticksville lol.

The seaside event is listed on that oregon list, it's called "Muscle Beach Cruz". I'm going to sticky those, there's some interesting stuff coming up.
What kind of Harley? I'd like to own a Dyna Wide Glide someday, but for now I'll just stick to Honda.

The wife and I travel quite a bit on the bike,we've been to 21 states on it so far.
I've had quite a few Harleys over the years and a lot of other bikes when I was younger and couldn't afford a HOG.
I've had Hot Rod Harleys, cruisers and touring bikes but being the old motorhead I am even the big Glide has the motor pumped up with a big bore kit, high compression pistons, ported polished heads, performance cams(570s) ,performance igninton a bigger carb and true dual performance exhaust.
It gets some looks when I pull a full on wheelie being an old grey beard riding an 800'b touring bike lol.
Been into both bikes and Camaros a long time, got my first street legal bike in 1971 and first Camaro in 1978.
My bike turned 9 years old on the 15th and has 150,000 miles on the clock, all mine.

Good looking bike, your making this 19 y/o foam at the mouth. I don't own my own bike, but I ride either dad's 84 Goldwing or the 03 1800R VTX. I did have a 750 Virago, but it started having some severe electrical problems, so I had to get rid of it. I'm probably going to ride to Sturgis with dad this year. I like big touring bikes 10x's more than those crotch rockets.

Not many youngsta's out there that appreciate the big bikes but then you have ridden a GW so you have more in site than most.
I like fast bikes too but they aren't very practical, at least for me.
Still I'd like to have a new Buell 1125R or a Ducati or something but I guess I'd likely live longer without a speed machine lol.
I would like to have a Dyna as a second bike but you cant have everything.
I had an '84 FXR Superglide (made before the Dyna series) for 10 years (125,000 miles) and loved it,wish I had kept it but I finally had to let it go to help pay off the new bike.
Had another E-Glide for a while I bought used and kept the Super, traded that one in on the new bike but the payments were still a pain so I let the Super go.
Sturgis should be a real eye opener for you heh heh, good to hear you plan to ride there.
The trip there and back is where the best memories are made,I've made the trek 6 times and believe me the ride there and back is way more fun than the actual event itself.
These days I get my speed rush thrills on the water with a jetboat.
(keeps me out of trouble on the street lol)
My boat is down right now for a fresh engine rebuild (460 Ford) but when she's back together she'll be making about 600hp on pump gas with a dual quad tunnel ram.
Got too much new to list but suffice to say,it will be very built with ported heads etc.
Two Holley 660 center squirt carbs on Offy T-Ram,this will be polished before it goes on.

The only fast bike that I think would be fun to have is a Hayabusa with a wheelie bar and the limiter removed. That would be a kick on the drag strip. Nice boat you got there also, I'm liking the pipes.
Our toys aren't quite as exciting, but some fun nonetheless. I drag race an 85 Mustang that has a 351 Cleveland in it. We're building another engine for it that will handle some nitrous, we're hoping for 10.5 on the motor, and 9 something in the gas.
Then we have a 79 CBX that has the motor out if it right now. It needs new pistons, the old ones were too low of compression. Dad has had it since it was new. It's a dedicated drag bike, after 17 years of storage, we took it out and he ran 10.77. But it wasn't running right.
Here's his other 2 bikes, I ride which ever one he isn't using. I like the VTX more than the wing.
