turbo? S/C? N20? 383 stroker?

looking for Hp for my 96 Z28, has Lt1 engine. looking at price, quality, hp gains. N20 is oviously the cheapest, but only gives 25-75 shots per bottle. Turbo gives you hp boost in every shift, but will wear and tear the engine, expensive.S/c gives you hp, is reliable, but expensive. boring out the 350 to 383 stroker, hp gains, reliable, relitivly cheap, gas chugger. Which is the best for reliablity on the car, price, total hp gains and quality? My thought on it is just get the two cheapest, 383 stroker w/n20. Any advice?

nitrous only gived 25-75 shots per bottle?

are you saying 25-75 horsepower for a bottle? cuz thats not correct, it depends on the jets

or are you saing 25-75 injections per bottle? cuz that would depend on bottle size, jetting, and duration of the shot

either way nitrous is the best bang for your buck performance there is

as nickdotcom said nitrous is best bang for buck , but they also have the remote mounted turbo kits now that take the place of the muffler and are not that expensive , make good hp and don't hurt reliabity that much. from what i hear the LT1 is better engine to do forced induction on because it has more head bolts than the LS1 (don't know if it's true , but that's what i hear)

25 or 75 shots per bottle? Either you're planning a very large bottle on going to use only a 25 HP shot. Typically a standard bottle gives about one or one and one half minutes of full throttle: say five to ten quarter mile runs depending on how much you are shotting:at least in my experience.

A storker results in the most satsifying performance: added low end torque and power across the whole RPM band -- at least it you also make head, cam, and other changes you should do while you have it apart.

A SCr is not that expensive (I think by the time things are all over tubos are more expensive). Some are quite reliable, too.

As to the head bolt pattern, that really does not matter. Heads on both LS and LT engines will take enough boost to blow up the stock bottom end and challenge even well-built modded engines: both need aftermarket everything to go to really high boost levels (2 bar, etc.).
