2023 last of Camaro
 

Read that 2023 is the last gasoline ran Camaro. Gm ls going to make Camaros electric and 4 door sedan. Have you heard this? If so. I have a 2015 convertible with 44k miles. Should I trade it in or keep it. What are you owners thinking

GM plans to make a special 2024 farewell edition. Trying to predicted the value of what is considered a daily driver in the future is really tuff. I mean if you plan on holding it to the next 20 years yea it will probably go up but go up enough to cover 20 years worth of insurance and maintenance? Who knows. If you love it keep it nice and have fun with it. If it goes up great if not you still have your fun car. But if you sold that car today in invested you could easily have 50K in 20 years.

If we look at history when the 4th gen ended it had little effect on the 3rd gen camaro. It did hold the value of the 1998-2002 up longer when compared to say the mustang. I knew a couple of guys that used up several 2002 camaros. Based on that it will be the 2020-2024 that will hold there value then fall like a rock if GM comes out with a new design in 5 years.

I have not heard of any project GM is calling a camaro. I have a lot of friends in manufacturing. I knew within a week GM told its vendors to stop all development on all 7th gen Camaro related projects. That was before the news got a hold of it. That does not mean they are not just planting the camaro name one some other car. That is unlikely but possible. IMO that would be a huge marketing mistake.

Sad but true. The Camaro as we know it ends with the farewell 2024 edition. Then we can get all charged up over the 2025 EV Camaro.

NOT! Especially if it's an ugly little 4 door like the EV mustang Ford put out.
They should have named it Pinto or Granada or something,it's no Mustang.
My wifey has the first year retro Mustang an '05 ragtop,that car looks Mustang more than any since before the Fox bodies back in the '70's.
