Default Wow!!

Hi, I am new here, what a great site, I own a 1979 and drive it as a daily driver(only get 8 miles to the gallon)and as an auto cross car on the week ends!! I"ll post a couple of pics when I get off work!!

Welcome! How does that 2nd gen handle auto-x? What all do you have done to it?

Well it is not stock, gear driven 355 cid,stage 2 shift kit, lowwered 2 in, with air lift in the rear. The only thing holding me back is my rear end ratio, 2-41. I run in the ESP class, with TA's Saleen Mustangs and Vetts, I always come in last but hat is because of the street tires, I have 2 racing tires just need to find 2 more. I tell ya one thing it is a hoot to drive, you learn after a couple of runs how far you can push it with out going around.

Thanks guys, it is RM Solo 2 that is the main driving I do on the week ends weather permiting.
